The Calix 100-03006 is an E7-2 GPON-8 line card designed to enhance the capabilities of the Calix E7-2 Modular Access System. This card provides robust Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) and Gigabit Ethernet (GE) interfaces, facilitating efficient and scalable network solutions.

Key Features:

• High Port Density: Equipped with eight ITU G.984-compliant GPON OLT ports, each supporting up to 64 Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), allowing for a total capacity of 512 ONTs per card and 1,024 ONTs per E7-2 chassis.
• Additional Connectivity: Includes four GE SFP ports for high-bandwidth, point-to-point Ethernet services, and two integrated 10-Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports for uplink or network aggregation purposes.
• Flexible Deployment: Supports Class B+ Optical Distribution Network (ODN) with a +28 dB link budget, enabling transmission distances up to 20 km with 32-way splits. Extended reach GPON is achievable up to 40 km with a 1:8 split.
• Integrated High-Capacity Aggregation: Built on a core Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch capable of full-duplex, line-rate forwarding across all interfaces, ensuring efficient data handling and network performance.
